Hot Dog Eating Contest

You must be at least 13 years of age with parental consent to enter

Contest groups include:
-
ages 13-15 (grades 7-9)
-
ages 16-18 (grades 10-12)
-
age 19+ (adults)

Participant ages 13-17 must have signed parent’s or guardian's permission, and one parent or guardian must remain on sight during the contest.

Entries are limited to the first 10 contestants in each age group based on registration
-
Free, early registration ends September 19th at 4:00 PM
-
Day-of registration opens at 10:30 AM, costs $5 and ends precisely at 11:00 AM on September 28th, 2025

Ribbons will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each group. Prizes and give aways will be determined by entry and sponsorship.

You will be given a platter of hot dogs, each in a plain hot dog bun
-
Participants may not touch the hot dogs or buns until the starting signal
-
Only entirely consumed hot dogs (including the bun) will be counted as fully eaten
-
Contestants will have 5 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as they can
-
Buns and hot dogs may be separated, dunked or mangled, but you must consume one bun for every hot dog
-
Contestants may drink only water during the contest
-
Condiments are optional, and are limited to ketchup and mustard
-
When the 5-minute time limit is up, contestants may not put any additional hot dog or buns in their mouth. Any food still in a contestant's mouths will not count as eaten.

Partially-eaten hot dogs will not be counted as eaten/consumed
-
Visible signs of sickness or spitting out will result in disqualification
-
In the result of a tie, an “eat off” will determine the winner
